[Answer] During a brake inspection an area of the vacuum brake booster below the master cylinder is found to be damp. Tech A says that this is a normal condition. Tech B says that any evidence of fluid indicates a leak and the master cylinder must be replaced. Who is right?A. Tech AB. Tech BC. BothD. Neither

Answer: A. A small amount of fluid present here is normal due to the lubricating action of the master cylinder bore end seal. The brake fluid is kept from leaking back into the power booster by a seal on the pushrod. If a large amount of fluid is present unbolt the master cylinder from the booster and look for signs of leakage.
